Disability Parking Plates/Certificates

available at both license center locations (County Campus and Service Center)

To qualify for a disability parking certificate you must submit an application completed by your physician.

Disability Parking Certificate Application

Disability License Plates:

To qualify, the applicant must be the owner or primary operator of the vehicle on which the license plates will be displayed, or is the custodial parent or guardian of a permanently disabled minor, or is the owner of a commercial rental motor vehicle that has been specially modified for and is used exclusively by permanently physically disable people.

Fees:

Initial/Duplicate/Replacement: $6.00 for double plates, $4.00 for Single plus filing fee.

Disability Parking Certificate (Hanging-certificate):

A disability parking certificate indicates that the physically disabled applicant is the operator or passenger being transported in the vehicle. The current permit design is a hang tag to be displayed from the rear view mirrorwhen the vehicle is parked.

Fees:

$5.00 ea. for Temporary 1 to 6 months
$5.00 ea. for Short Term 7 to 12 months
No Fee for Long-Term 13 to 71 months
No Fee for 6-year Certificate (For permanent disabilities)
