Household Hazardous Waste Mobile Unit

Every year during the summer months, the Household Hazardous Waste truck travels to cities to collect unused hazardous products that may be lying around your home - items that you cannot throw out in the garbage.

*For disposal of motor oil and antifreeze, residents are encouraged to use the public used oil facilities located throughout Stearns County.

The Tri-County Household Hazardous Waste Facility also accepts products year-round from residents in Stearns, Benton and Sherburne Counties. Its hours are:

Monday 9-5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 9-4 p.m.
and the third Saturday of each month 8 a.m. - noon
The facility is located at 3601 5th Street South in Waite Park.
