Child Care Plan

The Child Care Plan outlines how Stearns County administers the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) under supervision of the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS). The plan is required for funds that the county receives for the CCAP. A biennial plan is required to be submitted to the state.

The Community Corrections Comprehensive Plan outlines how Stearns County Human Services administers all programs within the Community Corrections Division. The Plan is required for funds that the county receives through the Community Corrections Act. A biennial plan is required to be submitted to the state, and the progress report is provided to the state at the end of the first year of the planning period.
Limited English Proficiency Plan

The Limited English Proficiency (LEP) Plan is required document to provide a framework to ensure meaningful access to program information and equal opportunity to benefit from services for persons with hearing impairment and limited English proficiency.
A client has Limited English Proficiency (LEP) when he/she is not able to speak, read, write or understand the English language at a level that allows him/her to interact effectively with Stearns County Human Services staff. It is not always easy to identify a person with LEP. Some clients may know enough English to manage basic life skills, but may not speak, read or understand English well enough to understand some of the complex issues they may encounter within the human services systems (i.e., legal, medical, or program language).
MFIP/CCSA Biennial Services Agreement Plan

The primary purpose of the Minnesota Family Investment Program and Children and Community Services Act (MFIP/CCSA) Biennial Service Agreement Plan is to achieve stated outcomes and work toward goals of economic stability for poor families under MFIP and keeping children safe and improving their well-being under CCSA. This biennial plan is required to be submitted to the state to be eligible for certain state and federal funds.

The Public Health Plan outlines a community assessment, identifies community health issues, and outlines community health improvement plans. This plan is required every five years and is required under the Minnesota Local Public Health Act.
