About the I.S. Department
The Stearns County Information Services (I.S.) Department provides technology consulting, systems implementation and technical support services for all the County departments.
The I.S. Department manages technology projects for all County departments. Each IS Project Manager works for the IS Department and also reports dotted-line to the management of their assigned county department(s).
I.S. Department Functional Areas
The Technology Consulting group assists County departments with technology planning, systems design, and provides project management services. Technology Consulting is managed by Jay Sikkink, Technology Consulting Manager. Jay can be reached at jay.sikkink@co.stearns.mn.us.
The Technical Support group provides implementation and Help Desk services for the County's mainframe and PC computers, computer networks, electronic mail and voice mail systems, and telephone systems. Technical Support is managed by Paul Froland, Technical Support Manager. Paul can be reached at paul.froland@co.stearns.mn.us.
