Lake Koronis Park

Fishing Opener this weekend!  Lake Koronis has a great boat landing.  Enjoy fishing on beautiful Lake Koronis.  Valid fishing license necessary.  For more information, check with the DNR.  about the Park

Lake Koronis Regional Park, jointly owned by Meeker and Stearns Counties, is a 62-acre site. The park was established in the years between 1971-1976.

Lake Koronis Park has much to offer:

  • a swimming beach
  • picnic shelter with cooking facilities
  • open-air shelters
  • observation tower
  • boat launch
  • nature trail
  • playground
  • campground

Directions

Lake Koronis Regional Park is five miles southwest of Paynesville, on the south shore of Lake Koronis.

Hours:

Lake Koronis park is open year round from 6AM-10PM

Parking: 

Free parking is available

Shelters:

Meeker County manages and accepts reservations for the picnic shelters located in Lake Koronis Regional Park. Contact Meeker County for additional information. (contact info above)

Two small open-air shelters:

  • open on four sides
  • electricity available
  • capacity: 50 people
  • parking capacity: 30 cars per shelter
  • rental fee: $20 per day

One large open-air shelter:

  • open on three sides Large Shelter at Lake Koronis Park
  • electricity, stove, refrigerator
  • capacity: 100 people
  • parking capacity: 50 cars
  • rental fee: $40 per day
  • Groups over 100, fee is $100 per day.

*The Auditorium is closed at this time.

Camping

Lake Koronis Regional Park offers public camping from May 1st through October 1st. The sites are private, wooded sites, and each contains a picnic table and fire pit. The playground and shower facility is located in the center of the campground. Call 320.276.8843 for reservations.

Campsite without electricity: $16 per night
Campsite with electricity: $20 per night

Camper cabins are available for $40/day plus $40.00 damage deposit.

Sales tax is added to camping fees.
